Speed Friending

Our most popular and requested event is back again!!! Welcome to Speed Friending, like speed dating but for friendship! You will have three minutes to get to know the person in front of you before moving on to someone new. A random list of fun, unique, and completely obscure questions will be provided for you so that you can skip the mundane “get to know you” conversations and really get to know how well you interact with the person in front of you. None of that “What’s your favorite color?” or “What do you do for work?” shit!

This event will be held at an exclusive member’s only social club at the U of U stadium (membership not required to attend). This event will feature free appetizers and two bars. It is the only location at the U of U which is allowed to serve alcohol. After the speed friending event ends at 8:30, we will have a private cocktail hour on the field patio overlooking the stadium which will feature free mini golf for you to get to know the people you liked talking to better or to meet someone new. We will also have private access to the club restaurant should you get hungry. Parking is free at the stadium.

PLEASE BE ADVISED – This event is NOT for dating. If that is your intention, don’t come. Flagrant violations of this rule can result in being banned from any future events. That isn’t to say that dating can’t come out of something like this, but this night is strictly about friendship!

Tickets to attend the event are $12 in advance or $15 day of and are sold here on Eventbrite. We sold out our last event and with this larger space we are expecting over 300 people in attendance.
