What is Want2BeFriends

Making friends as an adult is hard. Not only do we have limited social interactions in which to meet like-minded individuals, but there is also considerable difficulty in putting yourself out there. Want2BeFriends wants to make that process of connection a whole lot easier. Our aim is to create not only an organization, but a movement devoted entirely to building friendships while having a great time doing it.

Originally Want2BeFriends started as a separate idea for a company, 'Today is Field Day', a day when adults get to play elementary style field day games while competing against each other and building new friendships along the way. After thoughtful consideration on a good starting point, Want2BeFriends was born in as a springboard to eventually make that dream a reality. While different in approach, the main concept has remained consistent: create a way for people to have fun and meet new people. Our ultimate goal is to create a culture of events similar to Today is Field Day across the nation focused on helping adults develop and maintain meaningful friendships in an increasingly digital and sexualized world.
